Small family guest house with very accommodating host and real, unplayed hospitality! Clean and cozy rooms, delicious breakfast (in the garden with good weather).We were on the way with the bike and felt very comfortable and welcome!

Christian vom Schwarzen Adler was the nicest host of my life and it is impossible to recommend him and this restaurant enough.Let me tell you a story.We were four visitors who are not only new in Gerswalde but in the whole of Germany, foreign, and domestically ill. For various reasons, we have been forced to stay in Berlin for a long time. That's why we decided to visit Gerswalde to breathe some fresh air, so to speak. In principle rather relaxing ABER, we have chosen a bad day, which was the day of German unity. Therefore, all pubs, restaurants, etc. were closed (as on Sundays, but it was Saturday!!! After a day hiking in the beautiful Uckermark environment (to find food, we were really hungry and desperate.Christian realized that well, and in the middle of the night (at the reunification!! cooked us four portions of Pommes and served us four bottles of beer, all at a very reasonable price. I was with three friends in the middle of the night. The kitchen was closed but the host Chris prepared something for us as an exception. He made us the best pommes I ever had. Great man of Chris
