The Blue Swimmer at Seahaven - GERROA

Overall a good experience. Most of the food was quite tasty. I found the Kingfish was drowned in the sauce, which made the kingfish have an interesting sour-ish after taste. Otherwise the dip was great and the Lamb burger was one of the best and juiciest I’ve had in a while. Overall, excellent all round and was unfortunate that they ran out of two main vegetarian options that might have suited my partner. Also, very affordable.

Gerroa is a seaside destination in the South Coast, about 2.5 hours drive from Sydney. It is famous for surfing and hometown to one of our female surf icons Sally Fitzgibbon. This small coastal town has a caravan park, plenty of holiday houses and Air BnB’s. If you’re in the area be sure to check out Kiama, Gerringong and Berry for a great little weekend getaway.

Eating was excellent, very well prepared with an obvious passion in the menu creation. the service staff was absolutely fabulous, very concentrated on us as a customer. the wee were of good quality.

Great coffee. great team. friendly and professional. a pleasure to visit daily while in beautiful gerroa. good value for the simple but attractive menu.

We had a nice visit to the blue swimmer today. there was a pretty loud party at a nearby table that can be annoyed with a happy, though loud group of diners. it was hard to hear the waiting staff, but the young female server. somehow repeated, and also wrote the specials for us if we missed something. that was a personal note that did not go unnoticed. that was nice to eat. the fish in fischtacos tasted good, as well as the salad part of tacos. honestly, it would be worth investing restaurant owners in better quality tortillas. a tortilla press would definitely bring them to a new level. I'm a southern california girl, so I'm pretty experienced with taco use. the barramundi looked delicious as the black noodles. the s hared dessert was nice, although at 17 dollars was a bit expensive. I found the most important meal times to reasonable trips. I thought the beauty of this place was the friendly wait staff. I'd come back, but I'm not going to run back right away.
