Absolutely fantastic food! Onion bhaji's and spectacular lamb chops to start, then mango chicken, butter prawns, beef vindaloo, and a fish dish with buttery, garlic naan. Superbly cooked, and I'm gonna say it, the best Indian food I've ever had in NZ. Service staff were grand, crockery came out super hot, and the drinks list was good. Crazy extensive whiskey options! Book, because it's pretty busy. Definitely going back. I didn't not expect this would be there in Geraldine being a town towards country. Inside was nicely decorated and presented. My highlights were the chair mocked a front of a car and the deer. There is a bar too for a drink. Food was great specially pizza naan and chicken naan, chicken cheese samosa were the best of the lot. Though they don't offer tea, upon my request they made one though wasn't the best tea. Parking would be the issue I guess. As far as I figured out, only limited street parking was available. Some of the best Indian food I have ever had! And in **** ol Geraldine of all places. We had dinner at Royal India, and everything was great. Service was fantastic, polite and friendly. The food was absolutely scrumptious, and the staff bring you warmed plates before each course! Their Naan is off the charts tasty and they nailed the rice. All round five stars for the team at Royal India Geraldine, and you dear reader, should definitely check them out!
