Monument Cafe - Georgetown

Very disappointed in the food this past Thursday. Poor pork chops, not done, watered down fruit salad and very, very salty potatoes. Someone poured a lot of salt. I will never go to the restaurant again. I have never had problems with the quality of food at the old restaurant. All three of us complained about the quality of the food. I have an excellent recipe for a fruit salad that I do make once a month and it is 100% better than what was served. The pork chops after being sent back came back again like shoe leather. I would love to talk to the Manager in person. Please get another top quality chef.

This restaurant prepares all of its dishes using local and organic ingredients. The breakfast and desserts are outstanding. It's also a popular gathering spot in Georgetown, embodying the essence of what every small town in Texas should have, though few truly achieve it. I absolutely love it!

I have an amazing fruit salad recipe that I make once a month, and it's a hundred times better than what I was served. When the pork chops were sent back, they returned overcooked and tough like shoe leather. I would like to speak to the manager personally, and I strongly suggest hiring a more skilled chef.
