Golden Rule - Georgetown

This place has consistently good eating and drinking and they change/improve the ambiente.

Nice place, parking is a little tough but that is Georgetown.

The food was excellent. The portions were very small. I was very surprised at how small they were.

Carne asada fries- fries straight from a bag, flavor was appealing, but why would a restaurant wanting to be “different” start with plain frozen fries? Unfortunately they were also served colder than preferred. Elk Burger- the bun eclipsed the two very small Pattie’s. Plain frozen fries again. Absolutely nothing special, below average at best. Pecan crusted chicken- decent crust, and portion size. Nice flavor. Mash potatoes could use some milk vs water. and again; chicken was warm, potatoes were cold. Food was slow to the table. Appreciated the atmosphere, nice bar and patio area. They were out of several of their beer choices. Drinks were just, OK. Most likely will not dine here in the future; Maybe for a drink, on a nice, not so hot evening.

Great food and drinks consistently. Highly recommend
