A Whistle Stop Cafe - Georgetown

We stopped by on our way to Glenwood Springs and I tried the burrito smothered in ghost pepper cheese. The staff was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the food was excellent. I'm really glad we chose to eat here.

We visited this café during our trip to Guanella Pass, and it was a delightful experience. It’s a charming little spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere and very friendly staff. I enjoyed the classic breakfast—absolutely delicious! Since it’s a small café, we had to wait for a table to open up because we were a group of six. So, I recommend giving yourself some extra time. It's definitely worth the wait!

Karen Rachel welcomed us with warm smiles and served the best breakfast I’ve had in Colorado. The food was fresh, local, quick, and affordable. I highly recommend this place—it's even better than the Ritz Carlton in Beaver Creek and the Grand Hyatt in Vail. Dine here and save yourself $100!

Just like Grandma's home cooking!! This place is so sweet, small and has the feeling of hometown! The food portions are huge and the service was friendly. The prices are right. For a little mother n pop cafe, she did amazing servings, orders and quite sure to help cook the orders. Would recommend to others who want to sit, relaxing break from interstate driving.

Whistle Stop Cafe is a perfect quaint blue building serving breakfast and lunch. It's hard to miss this blue building after exiting the first exit into Georgetown from I-70 and then heading west through town. Our group used this location as a meeting point for breakfast right before we went up for Argentine pass, which is right outside Georgetown. The breakfast menu offered quite a bit to choose from, most of it being the traditional southren breakfast with the option for a smothering in Colorado's green chili. The food was delicious and the portion size was definitely worth the price. It wasn't too expensive, but you do get some good quality food! The only reason I gave a four star rating was because the floor was pretty dirty, I typically don't mind those types of things, but this particular time I was in flip-flops and I could feel the grime get on my feet. Other than that, it's a fantastic place to make a quick stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch!
