Backyard And Grill - Georgetown

I had a wonderful dinner with my mom and a very generous family friend. I ordered the grilled snapper, which came with herbed creamed sweet potatoes, a garden salad, and stir-fried vegetables. The flavors and presentation were absolutely delightful! The décor was charming, combining rustic elements with a sophisticated touch. I will definitely come back. The service was excellent as well! Great job, Team Backyard!

This restaurant is fantastic with amazing food! David and Suzette are wonderfully nice people, and I thoroughly enjoyed my "Bad Ass Burger" here. I would definitely go back!

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere with a few tables and a bar area. The setting is enjoyable, incredibly clean, and most importantly, the food was outstanding. We each sampled different local fish and a variety of other dishes. We also discovered the delights of local El Dorado rum. The service was exceptional, and the staff treated us with immense kindness. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when you're in Georgetown.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful restaurant with the perfect island vibe. The staff and owners are nothing less than amazing. About 4 days before my arrival to Guyana, I contacted the owner via FB and let her know that my family and I would like to have our pre-family reunion dinner at Back Yard Barbecue Grill. Tere would be approximately 25 of us. She was more than happy to accommodate our large group with such short notice, she even invited a DJ for the evening. The food was great, the drinks were great and the servers were awesome. You must visit if ever you're in Georgetown, Guyana, you wont be disappointed. I'll definitely be back.

It takes a little effort to find since there is no signage. However, the food is excellent, service is great, portions are good, prices are fair. Nice menu options, cocktails and wine selections are available. This will certainly be a stop on my future visits.
