D'loovi's - George Town

D’Loovis is one of those places you stop by for one drink at 7pm, and watch the sunrise from 12 hours later The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and welcoming. They are extremely insightful and full of knowledge and advice regarding local foods and sights to see. Some of the best food I ate in Malaysia was due to their advice, and my trip wouldn’t have been the same had I not stopped there my first night in town The bar seems to be a good mix of regular patrons, and travellers stropping through. This makes it a great place to meet new people (locals and travellers) and it is always a good sign when you see locals hanging out and choosing to have their drinks there they do know best after all. Plus, live music everynight, super central location, and the best mojitos I’ve had anywhere. There’s even a TV to watch the game inside and an upstairs for bigger events. I was lucky enough to stop here during World Cup. Hope to make it back one day, I don’t normally write reviews, but this business deserves a standing ovation. Thanks guys Mark

Came to this place every single day when i was in penang once you try this place you won't want to go to anywhere else, simply amazing with good vibes, friendly staff even the boss, great music. Would highly recommended! Love it

My favourite pub in Love Ln. Owner and staff are really friendly and easy-going. They frequently have life music and sometimes allow the guests to participate and jam along. Me and a friend had two great nights playing music, listening to some good old rock tunes and drinking beer. Would definitely come back

Awesome place to meet people, super friendly boss and staff to make you feel at home, plays a variety of music and bands here, definitely a must drop by place when you visit penang

Everytime I am in Penang it is my home away from home serving up awesome and affordable drinks as well as some kick ass live rock music. It is truly one of a kind in Penang and a must try for newbies, especially rock/indie music lovers.
