Ambaradan Pizza E Cucina - GENOVA

You wouldn't expect an italian restaurant held by asian people to be good, but we were pleasantly surprised ! Pasta were good, pizzas were good, and the servers were extremely friendly and nice. We would recommend !

We came here on a recommendation from our hotel. We were a group of 7, and when we arrived at 6:00, they weren't open yet. (welcome to Italy! : No problem we walked around Genoa for a bit and came back when he asked at 6:45. We ordered spaghetti, calzones, and pizza. All of it was good! He didn't speak much English, but we were able to easily communicate with the menu and hands.

We stopped here in early August 2011 right as they opened. Not accustomed to late dining, we had to wait 5 minutes while the opened the restaurant. The 'mama ' did the cooking and she turned out some wonderful grilled seafood. The service was excellent and the food stellar. We dined alfresco overlooking the cruise port. When I get back to Italy, this will be a stop.
