Locanda Tortuga - Genoa

This restaurant is fantastic! A real jewel. We had lunch here and we loved it. The place is pretty charming. We sat in what it saw as the old wine cellar and it was beautiful and cool. We ordered the Focaccia and we asked for a variety of different flavors to try and we loved them. They were fresh and delicious. My favorite was the Pesto focaccia and the original cheese focaccia. Service was good and friendly. The price is very fair. If you are looking for a place where locals eat in Genova, this is the one!

The homemade chocolate cake desert is a good choice, even if you need to wait 15 minutes. The cellar is beautiful. The food delicious

My husband and I were here for lunch and had to have cheese focaccia. Mine was with Pesto and was with truffle oil. We would highly recommend!

I found this place by chance but I'm so glad I had my lunch here. Delicious pasta with pesto and the best crema catalana I ever had for only 15 euro (including a coke). I highly recommend this place to everyone who wants some good authentic Italian food.
