Del Ponte De Gaspari - Genoa

It was a walk from our stay and there are not many other places around. The vegan pizza was good, amazing crust, very good taste. I agree that the middle got a little bit of a bit of a cheese, but I don't mind at all. The staff was sloppy for the Wanngern-Posh Square.

The Vegana pizza was filled and tasted ok, the best part was the dough. The cheese was unfortunately very watery (intentionally? so that in the middle of the pizza a lake had formed. Otherwise, the menu has little to offer for vegans. This is a pity, because a quick search shows a lot of great ingredients for vegan alternatives. I suspect that this one option is marked on the menu to not alienated groups with vegans and therefore feels like a mere economic calculation. While all others enjoy their 3-course menu with chic appetizers and desserts, swallow all night on your Vegana pizza soup. At least they could also mark when one of the wines is vegan. The service was friendly, helpful and fleeting. The kitchen has glass walls so that you can see the food prepared. Sidenote: We came directly from the beach and felt something dressed for the location.

Del Ponte's vegan pizza is undoubtedly my favorite, especially my variant with addition of dried tomatoes and onions. There is only one choice to which you can add or remove the ingredients

So while everyone else enjoys their 3-course meal with fancy starters and desserts, you sip on your Vegana pizza soup the whole evening. At least they could also mark if any of the wines are vegan.
