Mangia Bene Restaurant - Genève

It has been several years since we have discovered this place managed by 2 handsome young people Justine and Huge. Someone will say it is pizzeria as other. I wouldn’t agree. It is a special place where you want to go back. Always. And I’ll tell you why. First of all because of their professional attitude. They know you, they remember you and they know what are your preferences. We have been back after one year of absence. When I called to book the place Huge recognized me by voice. For pizzeria it doesn’t exist neither in Geneva, nor in Nyon. As for the food itself excellent. Everything is excellent. If Sicilian man admits that their pizzaiolo is very good means he is excellent. Their pasta is Italian, but not adapted to international standards. In general, their approach to the clients is very much Italian I would say, then French...and..the last, but not list coffee is Italian, but not Geneva style soup called coffee. Their deserts are indescribable...Go there! Please, I do insist people have to go there in order to know what good service and food are.

Very friendly, fast and the food was awesome! I liked it and will come back next time.

It was good. Food is good and restaurant looks nice. Friendly staff. Everything we had to eat was nice. Can't complain about anything in particular to be honest. So 8 out of ten (good) is well deserved. So four stars.

We went there with a friend on a Thursday evening, not really knowing what to expect. The dinner started on very good note with a quite abundantly served spritz. What followed blew our mind. We chose a pizza a bit out off the beaten path, more expensive than the others, I admit it. Nevertheless, the presentation was impressive (cf. photo) and we could feel that the ingredients were premium. Additionally, the dough was so soft and easy to digest that I'll definitely pay them a visit sooner than expected. ;)

Après avoir réservé car l'endroit n'est pas très grand, nous y avons été bien reçu. Mais les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur des prix surfaits. Qualité décevante pour le poussin, le tartare de bœuf était immangeable, beaucoup trop de sauce ketchup mélangé à des épices qui n'allait pas du tout. Laisser faire le tartare a ceux qui savent par pitié , l'assaisonnement doit pouvoir être fait par le client au final !! Pour les pages c'était bon mais cher pour ce qu'il en était dans l'assiette. Nous n'avons pas reçu le premier plat à partager avec nos amis ( focaccia ) suite à cet oubli il est arrivé entre les autres plats ! Les excuses du serveur et un lemoncelo pour faire passer l'aditition . Nous étions douze à être déçus , vraiment dommage.
