Bidrage med feedbackWe visited this place in September some weeks after its opening. The place is nice and matching the Atelier’s standards .. unfortunately the restaurant is located in the “basement” of the hotel with no natural light which could be ok for a diner but not for a lunch.. The service was nice but we had to wait despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. Dishes were nice but not spectacular and quite small for the price. All in all worth to visit once by curiosity but not more unless prices or quantity are improving.
Off we went the four of us, with a Buyclub coupon to Acacias. The place was full and chatting happily, but then the group started playing, Flamenco music, and we had to scream to get ourselves heard. (live music every Thursday) The starters were OK, the Simmental steak excellent. But even with the coupon we spent 60 Chf p.p. (starter, main course, drinks) so not much of a deal in the end. Very friendly staff. A good place to hang out after work, but on Thursdays get far, far away from the band, if you want to talk !
After having known l 'Atelier for years, it is now time to leave this place for good. Birthday arrangements for 8 people, all in good mood. Until the service sets in... The list is long of things that should be a NOGO for any restaurant: Only half of the arrivals are asked for drinks, it takes 15 minutes (and one reminder) to come up with the missing glasses for the birthday toast. Twice they bring the wrong wine; they take away desserts and drinks that aren 't finished (you really have to watch), on the other hand they fail to take away dirty dishes I 've never sat at a more neglected table. The private birthday cake that was meant to come out as a surprise was forgotten and only brought out after some had already ordered and eaten desserts. (We were not the only victims: There was another birthday group where the cake was served during the main course). Food is still good, though, although before a dish flambé was prepared at the table, not just soaked in brandy. I have to stop here in a nutshell: The service was so inattentive and not on top of things that you start to think they do it on purpose. It 's a shame this place used to be a wonderful, unique insider address. Farewell, Atelier, that was it! I
What an evening! I highly recommend this place: super nice, fun, friendly but professional staff, really good food (the Italian tartare though was delicious) and a fun atmosphere. When ordering a tartare, you are invited to the bar to see the server prepare it for you and adapt it to your taste while drinking a cocktail. Good food, good wine, dancing and singing, the perfect combo!
I wouldn't have expected such a nice restaurant in this industrial area. Built in an old workshop it has its own character. I liked my burger and there are a lot of tartar variations on the cards. Some live music played, fortunately not too loud.
