Kyo Sushi Restaurant - Genève

I had been recommended this restaurant ; maybe it was a bad day- there was a very large and noisy group of ladies celebrating a birthday. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my expectations; The shrimp tempura was very average, the Maki and...Sashimi were poorly presented. To top it all the Sake was made in the U.S.A. and not Japan. The price for the shrimp tempura was CHF 36.00 (5 shrimps) was excessive.

I went once again to this restaurant on a Thursday night with my wife. We had not booked. We ordered soups, sushi, vegetable soup and a mix tempura. Service was really good. The food was really amazing. The sushi was so good. It is definitely...my favorite place in Geneva for Japanese food.

If you know the Sagano restaurant and love it, then you will love Kyo Sushi. I was surprised when I looked at the menu and it was exactly the same as Sagano (basically photocopied onto coloured paper). The food was the same quality as Sagano,...i.e. very good. The service was good too. It only opened recently but I have walked past several times and seen that the place is full. A good sign.

We took the menu at 55 chfs, was very good and the quantity more than enough. Good service and quality and value for money. We definitely recommend

Ok but small portions for a high prize. Best you go for the set menue. it's conveninet of you stay in the hotel les nations because it's just over the street
