Bidrage med feedbackMe and my boyfriend went there for dinner last week. We thought... This place doesn't look very nice... But still we sat down and we ordered chicken and veggies momos, very good and cooked in the moment. Then we decided to ask the suggestions from the waiter and following them, we went for lamb and prawns with plain rice. Very good, and the waiter was very kind and friendly.
Unfortunately, my husband and I didn't get to try the food as we spent almost an hour waiting for our food. At the end, we gave up and left with empty stomachs. The owners didn't seem very apologetic and simply told us everyone had to wait as they were short staffed. Similar tables had the same waiting experience. Moreover the place itself was extremely cold if you sat on the side away from the impromptu electric heaters and boiling if you were next to it. Overall not an experience worth a recommendation.
The location is a bit odd, it's in a residential area a bit out of the way. The restaurant is a bit shabby and needed a/c, however the food was great. We had a selection of dishes and we all liked what we had. The service was also top-notch. I would recommend.
I've been living in Geneva for two years and the Himalayan Sherpa is, without doubt, my favourite restaurant in town. Superb food and the staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready to accommodate. The Palak Panir is an absolute must (as are the mixed pakoras, naan, biryanis...!) Reservations recommended as the place is small and popular
