Fourneaux du Manège - Genève

Well, the title said it all. It’s fundamentally a fish restaurant which focuses on local products. The perch ceviche was a bit bland, although the accompanying sauces gave a bit more character to the dish. All the other dishes were very tasty, bouillabaisse and the...catch of the day above expectations. Deserts unexceptionable On top of that the waiter was extremely kind and accommodating. I would really like to go back again.

It was the first time for me to eat at these gorgeous place! My family had already been in this restaurant, but years ago and apparently since years ago it kept the quality of food and service. Been there on business and had a very pleasurable experience. Each dish was simple yet exquisite. One of the best fish i had in geneva! All others seemed happy as well. Friendly staff. A good pick

We went to eat here on an August night for dinner, as the restaurant was suggested as one of Suisse Romand 's Top 100 Terraces by a Swiss magazine some time ago. First and foremost: It is a nice terrace, but certainly not Top 100. It...is a pleasant garden setting next to a horseriding manege with a fountain at the center, but: The lights are floodlight quality and if you have a table near it, you turn blind. Second: They used half of the garden to put up a cheap looking white tent may give some weather protection, but totally takes away from the charm of a garden restaurant. Third: Table decor, napkis etc. are terribly old fashioned orange. Positive: It is indeed one of the few places in Geneva with a big outdoor area. The filets de Perche are from Lac Léman and excellent, and you can select your side dishes, but they also have their price (50CHF). Also positive: The service is excellent, friendly, proactive a rare sight in Geneva! All in all, a pleasant garden restaurant, not cheap, even for Geneva standards, but definitely not one of the top terraces or top restaurant choices.
