Bidrage med feedbackVina Mundi is an amazing little wine bar that was recommended to me by the owner of Pedal'rs Inn, which is located nearby. I was looking for a unique place with great ambiance where I could host a rehearsal dinner the night before my 12/19/15 wedding and as soon as my fiance and I walked in the door, I knew Vina Mundi was exactly what we were looking for. There wasn't a huge selection of food to choose from (after all, it's a wine bar) but what they had, everyone just loved. We ordered a selection of appetizers and Lorelei ordered in some hot sandwiches especially for us (which were huge and mouthwateringly good). The wine was of course superb. But the atmosphere and the staff really just made the night. The staff was super nice and helpful, put up and took down our decorations for us, and helped us stick to our budget. The venue itself was perfect it was laid back, casual and perfect for mingling and enjoying the company of our family and friends exactly what we wanted. I only wish I lived closer so I could go to Vina Mundi more often!
Kadie R. I believe you have said it all. This is a very special quite intimate establishment. The atmosphere very relaxing. The delectable tapas menu to the educational wine tastings always informative and with a theme or wines from a particular region. Combined with a brief history lesson. Simply the best combination. Anyone who stops in for a free wine tasting will definitely find themselves returning time and time again. Not into wine tasting? Looking for a special date night? Stop by on a Wednesday evening for their date night special. A delicious sampling from their tapas menu and your favorite fine wine from their vast selection. Add a little personal conversation and you might be surprised were the rest of the evening will go.
Just spent a lovely couple of hours at Vina Mundi. Their wine list is great, their cheese platter was awesome, and the service was wonderful. The decor is really gorgeous. Warm and inviting colors and artwork. Be sure to check it out!
Great place! Love the atmosphere and all that it has to offer. In the summer time, there is a beautiful deck to enjoy the weather, and a separate patio for any cigar lovers. They open these cute French doors so you can hear the live jazz music while enjoying your favorite wine outside. They also have different rooms, some with tall tales for a group of people, or tables to sit alone or comfy chairs to relax in, makes me feel at home. I've been to many of their events which are held throughout the months, such as free wine tastings to wine club to chili cook offs to educational meetings. I recently enjoyed their 2nd annual Greek fest where they share a bit of their heritage. The owners have such a welcoming smile that makes you feel like family. This place is a true gem and I couldn't be more excited have them in our neck of the woods. They also serve small dishes such as fine Wisconsin cheeses, caprese salad, straight up serious charcuterie (sp) and yummy warm bread with different kinds of balsamic vinaigrettes (can you tell ive been here alot) and one time, I had these sauteed garlic shrimp which were heavenly! Something different other than your typical Friday fish fry. Finally, a great wine house serving great wines and cheeses, just what our county needed!
Stopped in here at first on accident on a Sunday drive! Big amazing porch pet friendly and an amazing wine list! Great pepper truffles you must try
