Friendly pub and efficient service. Sunday roast is fab (I had the seitan option). Wheelchair accessible and dogs welcome.

The beer selection is very well labelled with many vegan beers available, sometimes including some on cask, which is a rarity. Sadly the vegan food selection (at least on weekdays) has been reduced to only one vegan main (plus a vegan breakfast available until noon). A few others have ‘vegan options’.

The bread and bitter do a lovely vegan Sunday dinner with seitan and even do vegan Yorkshire puddings! They also have a good selection of vegan options on their main menu and have curry night once a week. It’s a dog friendly pub too!

I came here for a Christmas meal. Not a lot of options on the festive menu. The starter was delicious

Brilliant lunch (seitan or sausage with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast potatoes and an assortment of nicely cooked veg). Also had mint sauce available!!! Service was massively friendly and accommodating (we hadn't booked and it was really busy). Food was amazing
