Very delicious polish local kitchen. prices are appropriate

Lovely atmosphere. Piano player was wonderful. I ordered the halibut dish, and my husband had the grilled chicken over pasta. Everything was wonderful service, selection, food. Would go back, if there weren't so many choices and so few nights!

I don't know how many times I have been to Gdansk. But this Tawerna is a must every time. The food is the best in town and the service is splendid. Love this place! I would give more stars if I could. Try the traditional Polish soup served in a bread.

This traditional restorative is highly recommended if they want good tasting solid food with low trips on clean white tables with attentive employees who feel them like a queen (or king). the server even called taxi for us and helped us jump into the right one, he also gave us golden vodka for the first time in polen! we call 5 stars service
