Pan Bazar is a popular spot among college students in Guwahati for a quick meal. It can get quite crowded during peak hours due to its affordable prices and good food quality. While it may not stand out from other restaurants in the area, its traditional charm and old name are what set it apart.

This once iconic establishment, with a restaurant on one side and a general store on the other, used to be excellent in the past. Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly and it is not uncommon to be served something stale. I have avoided visiting for over a year now.

A landmark place that used to be real good in the past with a restaurant on one side and a general store on the other. No longer so and do not be surprised if you get something stale served. I have been avoiding it and have not gone in the last one year or more.

It is one of the oldest hangout in Pan Bazaar area of Guwahati, this place used to a place where people from all walks of life come, like college students, doctors, teachers, business executives tourists, etc. Now it has changed the face, though the earlier one had its own charm.
