Bidrage med feedbackThe Thai food here is decent, but it's quite expensive and the portions are small. I would only come back if I'm really craving Thai and don't feel like traveling all the way to Toowoomba.
Some of my appetizer was still frozen in the center, while the rest was unpleasantly rancid, indicating that nothing was fresh or even remotely edible. Both lamb dishes we ordered were tough and chewy, and the so-called fried rice was overcooked, sticky, and absolutely horrible – essentially just reheated mush. We had to wait to be seated and then had to approach the staff ourselves to place our order. Being the first customers in the restaurant, we expected prompt service, but that was not the case. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal or why we left so much of it untouched. I've reached out to the restaurant via email to inquire about this disappointing experience and to understand why the quality of food seemed so low.
The portions were quite small, and the panaeng curries had a strange flavor—while not unpleasant, they definitely didn’t rank among the best Thai food we’ve had. Additionally, the use of non-traditional vegetables like long, stringy greens and eggplant was unexpected. We always aim to support local businesses, which is why we gave this place a try. However, we might consider heading up to Toowoomba next time.
