Southern Comfort Westgate Resort

We were there for 2.5 hours, and the men around us received their food, ate, and left before we even got our order. Our waitress kept saying she would check on our food, but she never returned. We were just waiting because we had two hungry children, and there was absolutely nowhere else to eat in the resort— even the market was closed. Eventually, they realized that our order had been lost in the system, but that should have been evident when the waitress checked on it. When our food finally arrived, it was just average. I recommend finding another place to eat!

The only bartender available took an hour to serve drinks. The service was slow, but the food was good.

Our waitress seemed either overwhelmed or just not very attentive. Whenever she inquired about something, she would frequently forget, requiring us to remind her multiple times. Since it was just four of us, this felt a bit ridiculous. The prices were quite high, but we expected that given it was a resort restaurant—it felt more like we were paying for the location than the quality of the food. The meal was mediocre overall, though I did enjoy the red beans and rice. For what we paid, we could have had a much better dining experience elsewhere. The limited menu was also disappointing; I really wished there had been more options available. We only chose to eat there because the weather was uncertain, and based on this experience, that's likely the only reason I'd consider returning.

Good experience, but unfortunately they were among staffed. for the happiness we had a reservation and had not to wait for the 90 mins others to do.

This was our 3rd time dinning here. Our food wasn't very good and they seemed to be very understaffed.
