Smith Son Corner Kitchen - Gatlinburg

Definitely recommend making online reservations if able before you go. It has cut our waiting time a bit in a busy night. I had the fish and chips, they were smaller than I thought, but tasted great. My wife's burger looked and tasted great. Excellent service and atmosphere to eat. A very pleasant surprise with many different restaurants.

I ordered Mama Bear Burger and my wife got a southern bulldog, they were both amazing! Mama Bear Burger was very fleshy and well seasoned and perfect serving. Patties and roast meat tasted so good with onions and mushrooms. South Slav dog had Chillie beans, Cole Slav with all beef hotdog. Three ingredients were very well mixed and tasteful. I also loved her fries, they are about half a inch and very crispy. Well roasted and salted french fryers not too thick or thin. Was a perfect meal and I will definitely visit again when I get a chance.

I was really not impressed by this facility. If you look at the menu at the front door, it seems like a good place to eat. But from my observations and what little we ordered, we were not impressed. The only positive was our server not sure what his name was, but he was very friendly and spot on our orders. We ordered some drinks from the bars and an appetizer to eat while we killed some time shopping. We ordered the double nacho Supreme. There was nothing double about these nachos. There was hardly any chili, nor sour cream and the chicken that came on it, was so small that you hardly noticed that it had chicken on it. It was mostly corn chips with a meager that helped all toppings. It's pretty sneaky for a $14.00 appetizer. I am neither impressed nor will I return to this facility in the future. I think that was a very unsatisfactory visit. I don't recommend this place. I would do my business elsewhere.

We had a very short waiting time before we went up and sat at our table. We ordered our food and our appetizer just a few minutes before our meal. I will say, however, that they had the best food we had during our stay in Gatlinburg. Good variety for everyone. Our service wasn't so good. Our waiter didn't check us at all, we ran out of drinks several times and had to fly him down several times to bring more. I also asked for a side of Ranch for my frits, and after waiting until my frits were cold, he came to our table and told us that they were from ranch at the same time, took our incomplete nachos, while not attention and poured the chips/beans/cheese in my drink. He offered nothing instead of the ranch and rushed away. He then brought our check without asking if we needed anything else (my friend wanted another beer, but made sure he would know that he had ordered another, but to forget that he had already brought our check). I would have given 5 stars if not to the bad experience with the waiter, but we will definitely give it another attempt when we are back in town.

Food was not what we were expecting. We ordered a dinner salad to share and it was very small. The artichoke cheese dip was good but the fries were a little dry. Service was a bit slow, not because our server didn't try but maybe...understaffed? Nice atmosphere. Didn't see any elevators so don't know if it is handicapped accessible but there are a lot of stairs.
