Chicken Hut - Gatlinburg

We visited Gatlinburg in 2020 for a weekend getaway from Florida during the pandemic. We were looking for quick service and delicious food without long wait times. We were extremely satisfied with the service and food at this restaurant, so much so that we returned for Valentine's Day and made it our go-to spot. The food was prepared promptly and we were welcomed with courtesy and respect. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are a fan of spicy food.

This restaurant is a great spot for a fast meal. They offer a regular hot dog for $4.99 and a footlong for $7.99, with a cooking time of around 15 minutes. The portions are generous and the relish is delicious. The atmosphere is not very appealing, with only two bulky wooden tables inside, around six chairs along one wall, and one table outside. Unfortunately, they do not have high chairs available. There are some concerns about the staff's adherence to health and safety regulations, as the cashier was seen wearing the same gloves to handle money and serve food.

Although small and slightly off the beaten path, the service at this restaurant is friendly and genuine. Your food is served in paper-lined baskets, with two tables inside and one outside for seating. You place your order at the counter, pick it up at the counter, clear your own table, and leave feeling satisfied. While not a luxurious dining experience, this spot offers a budget-friendly alternative to fancier options. I visited two years ago and made sure to return this year, as the three employees here truly make it the best deal in town. I hope we brightened their day as much as they brightened ours.

We were in gatlinburg for an early break. we walked the strip and hungry. I wanted a little quick. I stepped into the chicken stable and wanted to get wings. I asked what was really good and unique. I was told I was supposed to get the chicken phillie. she described it, but I didn't really think it sounded like what I was looking for. we talked and I decided to get it recommended. it was far beyond what I expected. that he had a lot of taste and there was enough cheese to make me happy. it was unique. it was tasteful and it made for a fabulous lunch. I liked it so much that I went for another one the next day. sometimes you really need to trust what they recommend. I would never have ordered it.

Don't waste your money. I ordered a hot dog combo, that was too expensive, with soggy-ries and a drink. waiting for the food alone enough to ask for a refund only (as my order was not even started). I'd rather have thrown my money away. When I threw it into the dumpster, it fell out of the container and the bag on the floor and proved to me that the dumpster didn't even want it. only they go there when they pay for low quality over expensive food and want to throw away about twenty dollars.
