Sushi Shop - Gatineau

I have been to this restaurant more than 200 times, but only because it is conveniently located. Otherwise, I would never go back. I have a severe seafood allergy, so sushi places are not ideal for me, but I can eat fish. I usually stick to vegetarian options. When ordering with a group, we each order under our own names to avoid mix-ups. However, our orders are often incomplete or not ready on time. This time was the worst yet. I specifically asked for my vegan dish to be kept separate from any shrimp dishes, but when I received my dish, it turned out to contain shrimp. I had to cut them in half to check before eating, and sure enough, they were shrimp. I spent the rest of the day feeling sick and wondering what else they had messed up in my order. It was a disappointing experience overall, but at least I survived.

Went to downtown to explore this city a little bit as the weather is extremely good today (cold, but very sunny).

I came to this restaurant with my husband and young son to escape the rain and satisfy our craving for sushi for lunch.

I ordered takeout from Sushi Shop for dinner and ended up enjoying it a lot.

The sushi shop on Greber is ok but the waiting time is ridiculous! The edamame beans are not always fresh. I have eaten rolls where there was way too much rice. I do not know if they are understaffed but I have called for two rolls and the waiting time was an hour 45 minutes. Way too long!!
