Petit Peru Resto - Gatineau

Love eating here, but I'm always hesitant to come for the long waiting period. I don't know what the problem is, but I can't understand a restaurant with 1 server at the weekend. I was here 3 times in the last month and waited for an hour to eat or be told that some of the ordered items are not available. so sad because this place is obviously very popular and eating when we got it was always great!

Went here with a group of friends and after trying all their food I have to say that my choice was the absolute best, try the chicharron sanguichon it's delightful and massive, so won't be disappointed if you come with a big appetite.The alfajores are delicious as well.But be prepared for a long wait time, it took us almost 40 minutes to be served.

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to pick up the most delicious Peruvian food: Ceviche, Cuzqueña beer in bottles, Tres Leches cake and fresh Alfajores, and if I would’ve been in the area for a longer time I would’ve gladly gone back for more. The Ceviche was the best one I’ve had outside of Peru, freshly made and incredible, the alfajores were made right there while I was waiting for the ceviche (the alfajores were delicious! my nephews and sister loved them!. I would gladly go back, the menu had ample choices to accommodate the most picky eater, give it a try, will not regret.

Absolutely stunning food, very fresh and authentic! You can 100% taste the love and passion that goes on into this restaurant ? I order from there much more then I should, but those Chicken Empanadas are simply irresistible, and you MUST try their take on “Flan”, a perfect way to end your meal. 10/10 would highly recommend, just writing this makes me want to order again…. Thank you Petit Peru, for making quality and tasty dishes worth the hard earned dollars we work for
