Had a craving for BK so stopped in for lunch this past weekend.
25 Nov 2015 - Food was disgusting but not as bad as the manners of the staff.
I've worked in this industry for a long time, and generally don't complain about service. Having said that, the service here is consistently terrible. Staff locks up early whenever they want, habitually ignore customers, ignore the line and serve in whatever order they feel like. Don't bother placing an order for pickup, if you're the only one there you will be ignored, and if you're not they will serve every walk in customer before giving you your paid for food that's right there (including everyone who came in after you). If you have the option to go somewhere else, I highly recommend doing so. They claim to be short staffed, but I know several fully qualified people who applied and never got a call. They aren't actively hiring, this is just how the place is and has been for at least several months since I have been in this neighbourhood. The staff they do have are exhausted, and there's clearly no support being given.
Staff are very avoidant of serving the front desk. They'll walk up to the front, see a line, pretend to fiddle with the trays, they'll look at the ready orders but not call them out, just pretending to look busy and then retreat to the back again. Use drive thru if you can. Mobile orders will sit and get cold before you can get someone to give it to you.
