Dôme Café Perth Airport - Gate

There are 42 Dome's dotted around Perth and after a week there I think I ate in them five times. This was not due to them being in any way amazing but rather 12 hours of airport delays that caused breakfast lunch and dinner to come from the same spot. There's nothing particularly wrong with the chain it's casual, family friendly basic food but it probably wouldn't be my choice if I had options. Breakfast was fruit toast and a croissant with a mango fandango (a fruit smoothie incase you're wondering). Standard airport fare. Lunch was a steak sandwich. I appreciated the pictures on the menu as my patience wore thinner and thinner by the fact that I still wasn't on a plane. I actually thought the prices were quite reasonable too given we were at an airport where it generally tends to be daylight robbery. I had scones for dinner thinking I'd be eating on a plane shortly and thankfully, finally, I was. Scones were actually quite good although the cake cabinet appeared a little lacklustre

1 hour for a terrible excuse for a pizza. Hopeless staff who just can't handle a simple order. In future I will boycott Dome like the plague

Holy hell. 30 mins to get soggy waffles with melted ice cream in a restaurant less than half full. definitely not worth the over priced menu

What an absolute disgrace. The tables weren't cleared and wiped down for the 30mins I was there. Gets staff in that want to work for.

Service is poor, I asked for a half strength flat white and what I received was little short of disgusting. I asked for a piece of vanilla slice and was asked if I'd like cream with it to which I said yes. Was served the vanilla slice in a plastic take away container minus the cream. I asked about the cream and this was rectified. I couldn't drink the coffee so I brought it back to the counter with my used disposable tray and told the guy at the counter they can have their coffee back as it was the worst I have had. Poor form DOME, not what I expected from you at all. I am a regular traveller and will call past MacDonald's on my way to the airport next time. Thankfully the travel store was still open, I went and bought an iced coffee and continued to wait for my flight
