Mad Espresso Team - Gatchina

This restaurant is cozy and quite busy during breakfast hours. The barista creates beautifully detailed coffee art. The frittata was a bit too dry for my liking, but the waiter was kind enough to bring me some extra butter. In terms of value for the price, it was satisfactory.

I have visited this restaurant 4 times in the past 2 years. The coffee quality is consistently excellent. The atmosphere in the coffee shop is cozy and inviting. The baristas are friendly and welcoming, although I mainly communicated with them in Russian. Sometimes it can get a bit crowded, and the food preparation can take some time. However, I still rate this place as excellent due to the high quality of coffee and the friendly staff.

Best coffee we tried in St Petersburg (and I made it my mission to try a lot). As another reviewer said: it’s like St Kilda (Melbourne) in St Petersburg. Breakfast was great too we had the eggs with a couple of extras.

A Melbourne coffee house in St Petersburg? Sounds mad, right? Well these guys are mad, and they’re passionate about coffee, so they pulled it off brilliantly. A whole range of coffees, breakfasts and baked treats are all available in a cool decor setting. Highly recommended!
