Tex-mex Back Road Grill - Gastonia

You absolutely need to check this place out! The staff is incredibly friendly, and it was a joy to see them in action. Next time, I plan to try a Tex-Mex dish, but this morning I enjoyed a classic breakfast, and I’ll definitely be returning!

Today was my first visit, and it certainly won't be my last! What an amazing gem tucked away! You really need to check it out! The value for money is fantastic, especially that fried okra!

The prices were very reasonable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They didn’t just tell us it was good; they explained what was in each dish. If you haven't been to Tex-Mex yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. This is definitely a place I'd suggest to friends and family, and I plan to become a regular. I can't wait to come back soon! I wasn’t sure if it was just a lucky night for music or if the upbeat tunes are a regular feature, but either way, I loved it. Plus, there are picnic tables outside, which was perfect for the lovely weather we had. Overall, a great night and a big thumbs up to the staff!

We went looking for a good burger and we were not disappointed. My boyfriend chooses places to eat based on their reviews and this place was spot on! The burger and fries (for me) and onion rings (for him) were over the top...we each got the brunch burger, yum! We also got dessert to go and they were moist and delicious too. The owner waited on us and she was a hoot...so nice and so entertaining too! We will be back!

I am lucky enough to have known Luis for many years. I Recently had a chance to try his restaurant, and well as I expected the food and service was amazing!! Most authentic and delicious tacos I've had in a very long time. This is a small business doing it right. I had to drive 45 minutes to get there but it's so worth it and I will go back many times! Thanks to the owners and staff for doing a great job.
