Sal's New York Pizzeria - Gastonia

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and I must say, the pizza was fantastic! I loved the thin crust texture. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service. The young lady who took my order was incredibly pleasant, which is a rarity these days. Even more remarkable, Sal himself came out to chat with me, genuinely interested in getting to know me and thanking me for my visit. During my time there, he personally welcomed five out of seven guests who arrived under his name! It’s clear that this team truly values their customers and their role in the community. They not only work hard to provide great service, but they also seem to genuinely enjoy their craft and the people they serve. I wish there were more people like them in the world! I’ll definitely be back and will be telling my friends about this wonderful place.

The customer service is consistently outstanding. The pizza was fantastic, and the subs surpassed our expectations. Our kids really enjoyed it as well. The prices are great, and the dining experience was excellent. We will definitely return!

Best pizza ever! It's definitely worth venturing off the usual path to experience this amazing food. Be sure to try the Baked Ziti or the Caveman Bowl (not on the menu)—it’s pizza without the crust!
