On The Border Mexican Grill Cantina

Disappointed to say the least. Seated promptly in a unclean booth. Understaffed as usual lately, buy a vacuum cleaner if nobody can sweep. No drink order taken, actually went searching for hostess and didn 't find ANYONE. Im assuming they were all in the kitchen... UPDATE 1/22/2022 We made the mistake of coming back. Tried the new fajita with ribs,sausage, brisket. The meat tasted rancid, like freezer burned .Wife ordered vegetarian fajita, the vegetables were soaked in cooking oil. Staff that we dealt with were less than mediocre. Definitely our last time.

The atmosphere was quite chilly and the service was slow. There was a lack of coordination among the staff, resulting in a disorganized experience with our order. However, the food was surprisingly good, and the kitchen staff appeared to be more in tune with the overall vibe of the place.

This is my family's favorite restaurant, but our most recent visit didn't go as well as we hoped. The service was slow; we waited 45 minutes just to place our drink order, and another 45 minutes before the waitress took our food order. Once we ordered, the food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately, my husband's meal was incorrect. The waiter who delivered the food said he would return with the correct dish. We ended up waiting about an hour, and my husband’s food still hadn’t arrived. By that time, my bonus son and I had already finished our meals. Frustrated, my husband decided to give up and asked to have the incorrect order removed from the bill.

The food was good. I ordered a three sauce burrito, appetizers, a burger, and the fajita combo. I liked my burrito and the family liked their food. The waiter was nervous but he wasn't bad when getting serving. We will come by again since it was given the stamp of approval by my family.

Food was pretty good, but operations and service severely lacked. Ordered new bar drink from menu, waitress cake back 10 mins later said they no longer carried it, so ordered another. Later apps and main course came together, still no drinks and not prepared as ordered. Had to flag down the manager when waitress was obviously avoiding what she knew were issues. Would drop and run from table so as to allow no time for us to talk. Also to note was building is infested with carpenter bees so badly out door dining is closed. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO HIRE AN EXTERMINATOR, or fire the current company if one is in place. Overall food was good, but until operations are fixed I Would avoid.
