Olive Garden Italian - Gastonia

We went to Olive Garden for my husband's birthday. We went as a group of 5 and we had gotten a table very quickly. Our server was very kind and patient, and helped my daughters choose what they wanted. The food was delicious! The fettuccine Alfredo is out go-to dish when we come here. We loved the ambiance and the vibe of this place. It was well kept and fresh. This place also smelt amazing!!! (P.S you can buy their graters sometimes :

Everything was piping hot and delicious! Service and atmosphere was great! Best Olive Garden experience hands down!

We stopped here another time for my parents, this time took my Mom as she loves italian food. Not that this is considered "Real "by any means but it 's been around for a long time, plus I do like the salad and soup. Everything tastes like they just open a can and dump the sauce without doing anything to it. When seated the waitress was very nice. She had been a waitress she said for many years. She was on top of everything. The pasta Fazool was good with grated cheese in top. The minestrone soup was not good. Tasted like water. Had to Send it back, she said they make it that way for vegetarians and don 't add too much flavor to it. The salad the waitress said she made. It was very good. She put alot of toppings on compared to the way some make it. I have to remember not to get the crotons on top I am not a fan of them. The only thing that happened was I wanted Angel hair pasta with my eggplant and got regular. I don 't like thick pasta. The waitress made good immediately on it. I really like the eggplant. not crazy about the regular sauce they put on it. Just like a can of crushed tomatoes dumped on and no flavor but tomatoes. My Mom enjoys the Speghetti only because she loves italian food. She said the meatballs were good. Over all good experience, I like that you can pay at the table through the machine.

I never have a bad experience with olive garden, except today I have it! the service was absolutely terrible. our server pashieara w was not good at all and that was not eating! She went past us all the time and saw our empty glasses that had to be filled. we even sat them on the edge of the table, and she constantly looked over and went by, we had to stop them and ask them and when we did, she had a attitude to it. the table beside us also complained about them. She didn't even check on her tables. they would eat and drink, and then they would never see them again. So if they needed a refill, or a box or anything it was almost impossible to ask because they never checked on their tables. the host sat another table in her section and she huffed and puffed as if taking tables is not her job. our lasagna fritta came out of ice cold, our suppe was hardly warm, my chicken fritta looked old and as if it were sitting out, the pasta of my wife had two different kinds of pasta in it. they can see the two different pastas in the picture and they can see that my huh looks clear old and absolutely cold as it was! I will never visit this place again. I was wasted so much time and money. I am very disappointed!
