Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Gastonia

So I and the wife of this place had heard and decided to try to find Gastonia NC location. I have to say it was just okay for us. The food was fine, but it's not a place where I'm just going up and letting you say 's go to Cheddar's! And be excited. I had the 8oz steak (medium rare) with fried shrimps, woman had the dijon chicken. Steak was a little hard, and the chicken was kind of rubbery. Taste of both were good, but it is as if the meat had been frozen and thawed. Wasn't a fan of rice either. The waitress was very nice and the atmosphere was good, only the food did not do it for us.

It wasn't in Cheddars, but wanted to try. I was very happy with the food and service we received. Ordnete the Sante Fe Spinach Dip for our appetizer who surprised me how good it was! (Go so fast, no pictures) My 6 years old loved it. I had Sirloin and Shrimp, Cesar Salad and loaded potato for my meal, and that was pretty good. My daughter had the Cajun Alfredo she said she really loved. Of course, the fact that we get the croissants, things better, we love bread! Will add Cheddar's Gastonia to our list of restaurants.

The food was great. We sat in a decent time. Crumbs were one where we sat. Food came fast and hot but.. The fries I didn't order came up over cooked (hard and almost black)? It's like I appreciate the gesture, but that didn't make things better. One of the appetizers we ordered came with a certain amount of offers and we received less. It was a little bit with the bread they brought us, but I saw another family coming in and got what seems to be better. Again Great food, not the worst service, but it is definitely room for improvement.

Nice place to eat. Nina T was a phenomenal server that even treated a guy who was questionable what he did with the class without causing a scene. Chickens were okay. Friends were pretty good. Will try something better next time. Bread was Top Notch!

Patrick is the best server we?ve had in a long time?at any restaurant. He?ll take good care of you. Check my photos for the food. Everything our family has eaten here is absolutely excellent. Be prepared to wait if you come during main meal times. The parking lot will be packed, and so will the seating.
