Berggasthof Almhuette

Heard about this place from a lovely German woman so we decided to check it out. We went for the large Cream Puffs that we were told about. They were very good. The service was ok, we had to get the attention of the waitress....She was busy tho. There is an english menu for food, but not for the Desserts. They do speak some english, enough to tell them what you would like. I would recommend this place for the dessert since we didn't eat their food.

Went on a hike on a suggestion from the hotel manager we had in garmish. After a 45 min hike we found that a road could have been easier but we would have rather hiked. The sausage was good and the bread was average. Coke...like most places came no ice unless you asked for it. The sauerkraut was amazing. I ordered it thinking I was going to give it to my wife. The staff didn't know much English and one of the two tried. The view of the mountain range made this a good place to eat if you can eat outside.

First day when eating in the restaurant after corona break and since only a seat in the free was allowed, we chose this place with a beautiful view and a playground attached for the small. overall, it was a pleasant experience in view of the environment and the friendly service. there is also nothing wrong with eating, portions are large (for the wind bag too big) and quality cut. we will be back on a beautiful sunny day, especially as the walk after garish was also very picturesque

Each hiking tour needs a break. Make Almhuette as your halftime-station. Good Bavarian food, good service and these unbelievable Windbeutel. Go there!

Wir waren auf der sogenannten Windbeutel Alm. Wie der Name schon sagt die Auswahl an Windbeutel ist riesig genau wie die Portionen. Ein Traum. Leider gibt es auf der Terrasse nur " Kännchen"- ein Relikt aus der Vergangenheit.
