Trompo Taqueria Burgers - Garland

I’ve seen this place for years but never took a chance on it. I had no idea what Trompo meant. I finally got the courage up and it was SOOOO GOOD! I wish I had gone long before then. I get the Trompo bowl and a side of elote’ every time because I like them so much. One day I’ll try something else.

It's kind of hard to make a decision on what to order, since the pictures are mouth watering and there are a lot of options to choose from. The Trompo was juicy, but the meat portion was tiny for the taco version. The fries had a generous portion of meat to cheese french fry ratio. The nachos had a small helping of Trompo . I'd most likely return, but am hoping this was a one off experience with the Trompo.

First time trying out the Burger it was really good but they served me too many fries which I couldn't finish myself but other than that great burger!! Would definitely eat again

Got a variety of tacos on corn, and WOW, the tripa (beef intestine) is amazing! The lingua (beef tongue) was also delicious. Trompo and chorizo was a little dry and not that flavorful. Salsas were good. I can't wait to go back and get more tripa and lingua!

My husband and I love this place. They have great food and a very friendly staff but tonight they were mopping with Fabuloso and I am extremely allergic. The cashier volunteer to bring my food outside to me but our dine in had to become a takeout and I will not be able to return in person.
