Bidrage med feedbackI have been visiting different Bakers Ribs locations for nearly twenty years. While the brisket can be inconsistent, the ribs are typically very good. However, I stopped by this location at 1:30 on a Sunday and for the first time ever, I regretted ordering ribs. They were completely dry and inedible. On a positive note, the young man who took my order was pleasant. Food rating: 1/5.
I ordered the two-meat plate with ribs and pulled pork. The little meat on the ribs was dry and extremely tough to chew, so I ended up throwing them out. For my two sides, I chose potato salad and pinto beans. The potato salad was decent, but the beans were not fresh; they were thick and caked up, which was unpleasant. They piled everything onto one plate, and the Texas toast was so squished that it didn’t even resemble bread. Overall, I was very disappointed. To top it off, they charged me $2 for a cup of water. Will I be back? Absolutely not.
I absolutely adore their two-meat plate! The smoked chicken and turkey are exceptionally delicious. They also serve a fantastic potato salad, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and peach cobbler. The portion sizes are generous, allowing me to easily make two meals from one order. This is a restaurant we visit often, and we enjoy it every single time. Food: 5/5
Good food, courteous and quick.Organized well and great variety on the menu. The fried pies are a treat!Vegetarian options: You could order only the sides that are offered and make a meal from them.Kid-friendliness: Casual environment.
Ribs were dry and old tasting, like left over from lunch. Couldn't eat them. Brisket sandwich was good. Baked potato, okra, and potato salad were good.
