Le Fontanelle - GARGNANO

Found this place when wandering around from our holiday accommodation, having visited the cafe upstairs. Prices seemed reasonable, and certainly so compared with restaurants in main town centre, only a couple of hundred metres away. Took a while to get attention, but waiter coped well...with our English only questions and ordering. Food arrived quickly, as did drinks. Again a bit of a wait to get dessert ordered, but a nice apology. Food very tasty, although some of the bread basket items seemed to have suffered from the heat (dried out). Risk of being bitten by bugs, and our table clearly had evidence of small birds having visited. Nice to be so close to Lake Garda, and would be happy to return.

This place has a great location and truly amazing service. When we went swimming we decided to eat pizza for lunch. The pizza here was perfect. We also had a Great Lake side seat.

Lovely evening in this lovely spot right on the lake just up the hill from the town,we started with the mixed lake fish and then a pizza each very good local wine list and friendly staff who remembered from previous visits and restaurant's

Yes the area is beautiful but that's nothing to do with the pizzeria. One of the waitresses was unfriendly which put a downer on things. Food was a disaster. Order was all messed up. Things not delivered. People finishing their main course before others for...their starters. Shame.

Nice location next to the beautiful park and beach. Despite it's plastic chairs and tables the menu stretches from local fish to pizzas and pasta. Reasonable pricing and friendly staff
