We are very disappointed with this place especially with the Manger. Our group off 5 people come to have diner on Saturday night and manager said everything is reserved for private party.But wee have reservation for 9 o'clock to attend to the party weereserved 2 days affront even the person who take reservation ask us did we like small or high table but manager just ignored usand our reservation.We bring our friends to celebrate and try some Balkan food but because one rude person wee failed. This is a fantastic place for Balkan cuisine! Situated in Garfield, NJ, it's just a short drive from anywhere in northern Jersey, and I believe it's definitely worth crossing the river from NYC to visit.

Terrible management and customer service. I made a reservation for five people to celebrate my birthday, providing my details and phone number to the man who took my reservation. When we arrived and mentioned our reservation, the doorman told us that there was a private party happening and we couldn’t enter. I asked why they take reservations if they have a private party, and he simply said that he didn’t take my reservation—someone else did. This is unacceptable, and I will never return. At the very least, someone should have called me to inform me about the private party since I provided my phone number.

They’ve done a great job renovating the place, making it look much nicer, but it was surprisingly empty for a Saturday night. They were supposed to have live music, but by 11:30, the singer was just sitting at the bar since there were hardly any customers inside. The food was significantly better than the frozen mashed potatoes and sides I had experienced before, but the drinks were extremely watered down. When we asked our server to address the drink issue, we were given two shots of tequila and charged $16, which felt unnecessary—they should have just fixed the problem right away. The waiter and other staff looked at us as if we were crazy for bringing it up. Overall, this place definitely overcharges for mediocre food and service. Fortunately, I’ll be traveling overseas in a month to enjoy authentic Balkan cuisine instead of this Americanized version.

However, we had made a reservation for 9:00 PM to attend that very party, and we had booked it two days in advance. The person who took our reservation even asked if we preferred a small or high table, but the manager completely ignored us and our reservation. We brought our friends to celebrate and try some Balkan food, but due to one rude individual, our experience was a failure. Please improve your customer service.
