Bidrage med feedbackSee this on the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Show. Guy Fieri recommended it so we checked it and let me say you.... FRICKIN PHENOMENAL! Very impressed! Also the service is absolutely wonderful, they are incredibly sweet and it is family owned. They use all their mother's old school recipes from behind in Mexico... this is super cool. Beautiful Hübsch RECOMMENDS???
When I went to the Mexican restaurant Sabroso with my friends, I honestly didn't know what Sabroso means. Not salsa, not tacos, not burritos, not fajitas, no regular items that we usually see in Mexican, but what we ordered were the home specialities mushroom chicken and Camarones En crema otherwise called Sauteed shrimps with mushroom sauce. Both tasted well, as the sauce is well mixed with the correct amount of flavors with added white wine. The Mexican rice and Peruvian beans on the sides are pleasing. Rice with sauce along with mushrooms gave the taste to enjoy all flavors when combined. The garlic bread is perfect and soft, as the cheesey garlic bread with added sauce is well decorated. The famous restaurant, foodie and connoisseur Guy fieri visited this family owner, who was telecasted in the Food Network Show Diners, Drive-ins and Dives by Guy Fieri himself. By the way, Sabroso Tasty/Delicious means.
The staff quickly amended the mix-up with our reservation when we arrived. Our server Evelyn was fantastic taking care of our big party. My friends enjoyed their carne asada burritos and tacos. I loved my menudo soup. The only negative was the taquitos were overcooked and very dry.
Very tasty and large portions. To be honest, we could have stopped at the two tamales we had as an appetizer and we'd have been satisfied. I also had the Mushroon Chicken and my wife had the Carne Asada. We both enjoyed the food but, as mentioned, the appetizer had satisfied our appetite already. I'd advise you to order the entre and skip the appetizers. The staff were very friendly and the pricing was reasonable. Recommended.
The salsa is da bomb! We had chicken burritos, one wet and one dry. Very yummy. Small place, but staff very friendly and helpful. Will visit again
