The service at this restaurant is absolutely terrible! The staff, particularly Nereida, has a really bad attitude. They don’t welcome you at all, and when they bring your food, they don’t even acknowledge a simple thank you. Nereida even reacted angrily and rolled her eyes when I asked for extra sauce. I pay for my meal; I shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of disrespect.
I've changed my mind, I'm not coming back, even for my free meal, I really can't be harassed to wait another 30 minutes and watch 5 other people with family meals first called although they ordered after me. But how serious, 30min and change for 3 pieces of meal, and you had no salsa because you gave it all to the families before me, even though I ordered before them? I even listened to your cash register talking in Spanish saying that I waited for 20 minutes, and it took 10 minutes after. The only reason I give you 2 stars, because at least your food tastes like the other El Pollo Locos. TL;DR: This place is not fast food, but a restaurant, order your food and be ready to wait 30 min, unless you look a certain way, then you get a special treatment that I appreciate based on observation.
If you want terrible service and dry old chicken, then this is the place for you! The place is occupied with high school children who prefer to have personal conversations rather than take care of their customers. The chicken tasted like it wasn't fresh and sat all day. Overall a terrible experience! El Pollo, you just lost a customer. But I'm sure you don't care.
The training at El Pollo Loco clearly needs serious work. If you’re looking for a fight, join the military instead of working in a kitchen. You work at El Pollo Loco; you’re not impressing anyone. I plan to take legal action against them. When the truth comes out, the managers cover for their incompetent employees and only provide them with informational materials instead of hiring competent staff. It’s like giving a madman a butcher's knife and letting them roam around customers. No matter how many tattoos you have, you'll always just be a lowly El Pollo Loco worker. With a shameful 1.2-star rating, good luck making ends meet!
