Barcode - Garden Grove

All the drinks are SO GOOOOOD! But also really sugary bc both me and my friend had headaches after drinking 3 cocktails each. I played a dbz against a bartender and it was pretty hilarious. They're friendly and even gave my friend a shot on the house after we already ordered a bunch of drinks. In order to play games, you have to buy a drink which is fair. This place is so fun and a great place to bring friends or a date (although it can get loud). parking is really easy to find in the back and I never really run into issues finding it. The inside is decorated so nicely with all the colored lights giving a nice retro ambiance. They have all the og and classic games. All I can say is, if you love games and asian inspired drinks, this is the place to go. Highly recommend Barcode!

I 've been coming to this place a few times and every time it 's always fun. Plenty of parking in the McDonald 's side behind Main St. You will see double black steel doors that will lead to a nice patio of the relaxing fireplace. Within another door, you will see a nice ambience lighting filled with arcade buttons vigorously and few shoutings of two people playing a friendly game of street fighters style video games. The bartenders are friendly and will make a good drink for you. I go for their beers, especially the Space Dust IPA which is my go to, I have not yet tried much of the mixed drinks but will try sometimes! They also have yummy pizza/tacos until 9ish, and after hours there are also delicious beef jerkies from Uncle Beefy . The setting is what I come for and will highly recommend people here!

Solid little gem of a bar located in downtown Garden Grove. Came here by pure chance. Was driving through and decided to try a nearby bar to have a quick beer . It was totally my style. Loved the vintage arcade vibe and the lighting/decor inside was very cool. As a gamer myself, it definitely hit the spot! You come in from the back not the front. They have a outside seating area as well. The customer service seemed pretty good. The first bar tender I had immediately attended to me without me even trying to get his attention. Another dude wasn't as nice but maybe he just wanted to go home lol I would say they could definitely improve their beer menu at least in terms of the options they have to offer. It's pretty limited but, nonetheless, it gets the job done if you're just looking to grab a quick beer without thinking about it too much. Have yet to try the food, so don't have much to say there. I recommend this place for groups but it's also dope for even a casual solo visit (think Mandalorian at Mos Eisley). I dig it.

This place is a fantastic beer arcade with a great atmosphere. It was my first visit, and I found everything to be delightful and captivating. The beer and beverage menu was both tasty and innovative, and the host was really friendly. They offer around 20 gaming systems with more than 100 games to choose from. I had an amazing evening and can't wait to return. The service was excellent as well!

I always have a great time here. They offer large mixed drinks and a fantastic variety of beers on tap. There’s also an impressive selection of coin-operated arcade games and a variety of free console games to enjoy. The staff is wonderful, and it's an excellent venue for fighting game tournaments that draw some amazing people. I really love this place; Barcode was my favorite bar for quite some time!
