Bidrage med feedbackOur group, two families with kids aged 9 to 14, stayed here for two nights in two of the Conestoga wagons. Overall, it was a fun glamping experience, and the restaurant on site is a nice fine dining establishment, if a bit overpriced. The wi-fi was fine for a few Zoom calls and the staff was friendly. There were some surprises, though. The wagons were extremely warm in the summer, even with the doors and window open fully. Warmer, I would say, than any tent. Several things on site were broken: an electrical outlet in the wagon, two of the larger games in the games tent, the water fountain, etc. It seemed like maintenance was not a priority. They also continued to water the grass constantly while we were there, even in drought conditions.
We stayed in a traditional tent, and that was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we had our own campfire area. The only reason I gave a lower review is because this place is not wheelchair accessible in any way, shape or form. They did have a handicap restroom with a shower, but only one and since people can be so inconsiderate (the campers, not the staff), I was unable to use the handicap shower. The staff were great, always asking if we needed anything. The pictures on the website are deceiving, you cannot get a lake view from your tent. We will probably not come back due to the inaccessibility of the campsite and the lake.
What a fun experience in glamping. The tents are great with wonderful beds. The rooms get hot during the day, but thankfully, there are larger tents to hang out in. Bugs and cooler weather at night. Lawn games, playground, and free bikes to borrow. The bathrooms are clean and come in different varieties. The staff was very helpful and you took a golf cart to your tent. Can't wait to come back.
This is noteable stuff as I don 't think it is on their website or confirmation email. There 's a fire pit at each tent and they provide wood. Big tents are stocked with towels and soap. There 's a bathroom and shower in some tents not wagons). Bicycle are provided but most tires are flat. There is a restaurant but I wouldn 't count on it serving every meal. One day there was only a continental breakfast and they were closed Sunday at 1030am bc there was only 1 chef. There 's a wood stove in the big tents but ours wasn 't working properly and we had to keep fixing it until midnight. Other things to note: There 's no way to cook your own breakfast unless you bring a griddle we were told the restaurant would serve breakfast each day) 11pm fire ordance fires out by 11pm) No grills at tents, only a designated grill area about 200 yards from The Grand tent Ranch is not on the lake. You must drive 22 mins to north beach $14-20) and make a reservation in advance or go to a pull over beach All activities on their website are off site. Water toy rentals, paddleboarding etc) though they have yard games there Grill utensils provided if requested Mini fridge included in room Beach towels for rent, $3 each They do have coffee and tea at reception Campsite staff was awesome at bringing wood and picking us up if needed and are responsive. They work until 12 or 1 am! The place is in the middle of town, so there 's restaurants but they have long lines and you 'll be there for at least a couple hours. Their website makes it seem like it 's magical glamping in the mountains of Utah, but our view was Ace Hardware and a neighborhood on each side of us. Coming from the east coast I was disappointed at first expecting to have amazing views. As their website says Glamping is where breathtaking nature and modern luxury meet to create an out of this world experience. However, we ended up have a good time. Bear Lake is beautiful and you can drive around to get the best views. It was super kid friendly. I think the website could be more specific on what to expect.
Great experience. Our young boys loved camping and for us adults we loved the comfort of everything.
