Da Pino - GARDA

First night in Garda and staying close by so tried this restaurant following a recommendation at our hotel. Very busy with both locals and holiday makers, really friendly staff........and patient given my attempts to speak Italian and fantastic food. Very happy and definitely recommend it. I had trout for the first time and was not disappointed.

Visited today after reading most reviews thought would give it a go. Met by a waitress who didn't exactly look pleased to see us! The place was quiet so no reason not to be welcoming like they were run off their feet. Order taken by same dour waitress then an older man took food order, again abrupt and un welcoming. Another waitress was more pleasant and had a smile for us. Plates taken away (food OK) never asked if we enjoyed it or if we wanted anything else. Best part was when asked for bill, old man came over looked at table rhymed off what we had wrote it on bit of paper flashed it quickly at my husband and stood there waiting for payment. Never experienced anything like it. Needless to say won't be back and wouldn't recommend it and cant understand why so busy!!!! Rude staff food average. Left very small tip only because one waitress was nice.

Visited with friends whille staying in area. Very laid back and good value. Simple menu but well cooked. Parma ham and melon starter was enormous. Would return.

Located in via dell'uva garda/ Verona/Italy, good value for money, open trattoria for lunch and dinner, good preparation and availability of the staff, fast and qualified service, attention to the norms anti covid, mask and hands igienizzazione, obligation of the green pass, fish specialties.

The restaurant is equipped with a large parking space two kilometers from the center of garda, makes the simplicity of the menu and the speed of the service its strengths. very crowded on weekdays by the workers during the lunch break is decidedly quieter and comfortable during the holidays. good quality of food, especially fish. the offer of wines is enough, however. prices for everyone.
