Honghong - Garching bei München

Really unsatisfied about the portion of the food! Have been to this restaurant for many times but yesterday was a total disappointment. Wait around 20min to get the food and below is the picture of the dish 干锅肥肠TBH there was only 10 pieces of meat or less, the whole dish could even be stuffed in a small rice bowl. we as two girls spent 31 Euro for the dinner and I was still starving. Unbelievable. When paying the bill I told the waitress the portion was so small and she seemed to ignore it completely and even forgot to bring the bill for another 10 mins so we had to remind her again. Terrible terrible experience! Wouldn't recommend this place anymore!

Food is good. I as a Chinese can confirm this. What I am unhappy with is how the boss treats us. I as a student sometimes go for a quick lunch. The boss would ask me each time if I want a drink. With a negative response she would usally start to ignore me. She even sometimes keep the change without asking me. I have visited the place more than 30 times during my stay in Garching, sometimes after an exam I was just exhausted for cooking and wanted to reward myself. Only to be despised at the end, as if someone paying for one dish is no more than a beggar. Thus despite these 30 visits, I would give out my 2-star rating.

Very good and delicious food! Not the typical 08-15 Chinese, but authentic dishes. Many Chinese students pick up dishes there. Absolutely recommended!!

Good lunch at very reasonable prices In the lunch menu there is a small appetizer (choice of 3) and a main dish of 4,90€, which is really an excellent price. The soups came relatively fast, only the main food unfortunately did not come at the same time and my dish also only on request. Although not many things go on, the operation and probably also the boss somewhat overwhelmed, especially service-oriented they did not work.
