1000 Curry - Gananoque

1000 Curry has moved into a new location on King St. in Gan and is about to open a sit down restaurant as well. We've ordered takeout from them numerous times for big dinners at Skydive Gan, and every time it's been good except that the vegetarian stuff doesn't always get the best of reviews from those who eat it. However, the lamb bhuna, chicken vindaloo, and butter chicken always get good reviews, and decent samosas too. Not sure why A A had such a different experience, but it's definitely a go to for us, and I find it better than some of the well recommended places in Toronto.

Very tasty and authentic food! Definitely worth the visit! Although the prices are higher than what I am used to, it's understandable considering the current economy. All in all, it was worth it.

Had a fantastic meal here with some friends. Very busy but they found us a table quite quickly and the food arrived soon after. Maybe the best naan bread I've ever had and a really delicious jalfrezi. The korma and butter chicken also very good. Highly recommended.

What a waste of time and money !! Definitely not recommended. The food was old and reheated. The naan was nothing but frozen pita bread.

This placed is not a restaurant that serves fresh food. It is a heat and serve place. The naan I ordered were naan that you can find in Indian Grocery Store in a package that was slightly heated and given to me for 5x the cost. Why did I order naan from a restaurant if I wanted to eat naan from a grocery store. Did i want to pay for the heating? No thank you. Not recommending this place to anyone. Shame to be called a restaurant. The vegetables I ordered were also premade probably.
