Cruinniu - Galway

I hadn't been to this restaurant in years, but recently stopped by while in the area for a meeting. I decided to give them another try and was pleased to see that they have made improvements since my last visit. On my most recent visit, I only ordered from the hot food section and was impressed with the delicious combinations and variety of options. I was particularly pleased with the dish I chose, and the baked hake I tried on my next visit was also excellent.

After I had given a less than satisfactory toastia, a free lunch was promised to me as an apology. when I went to get my offer(I actually only ask after the amount I paid to be credited to my lunch was not after a free lunch as I thought. that was fair) I was told by the charming lady (I think is the daughter of the owners) at the barout that because I did not respond to her answer to her FB page the offer was no longer valid. at no time they said that I would have replied to the posts, all that she said to make me known to them." They have also deleted all my contributions from their side. the biggest stork I've ever seen. they accused me of a product that did not comply with the standards and, in addition, the promise of reimbursement was not held; I gave some ludicrous reason why the offer was no longer valid. I will complain to the consumer right.

Call here most days for something if there is only one take-off coffee or breakfast or lunch is the level of service is amazing to go with the excellent food offered here. go and visit them cruinniu if they don't. they don't know what they missed when they're not here!

I've been here a few times and I only come back in the hope I might get something good. Im sure its gets a lot of traffic through it's doors but realistically that is only because it is conveniently placed in the middle of quite...a busy business park. The Panini's are generally OK but quite messy and not left in for long enough. Not very impressed by this, a supermac's would be better here and would be consistently good. I wouldn't recommend it if you have an alternative choice, but if you do have to go, stick to the basics (can't go too far wrong or at least that's what you would hope..

It shouldn't be so difficult to serve fresh sandwiches, but unfortunately, this place falls short. While conveniently located for offices in Ballybrit business park, it's worth driving a bit further for better options. The prepackaged sandwiches are stale, the paninis are usually undercooked, and the curries and stews lack flavor. The carvery dinners are decent but nothing exceptional, and overall the quality is below average. One colleague even received a stale sausage baguette. They definitely need to step up their game.
