Bótown - Galway

The restaurant was closed, and we were fasting on December 24th because all the few open places were fully booked.

I had an absolutely wonderful meal here and highly recommend it! The staff were lovely, and the atmosphere was delightful, especially on a chilly winter night. They truly excelled in making the experience enjoyable.

We had a wonderful dining experience in Bótown. The staff was friendly, and the food was delicious!

Chips were burned to a cripple, seemed to have been heated again. they were replaced when they were asked. burgers were in order.

We were seated upstairs and there was a terrible draft up there. It was cold with the door open. Drinks took a while to get to us but food took slightly over 1 hour. They apologised and said they’d sort something with the bill. Which they didn’t and it was easier to leave than make a fuss. The chips were definitely reheated at least once some of them were really hard. Burgers were good. Chicken wings weren’t hot just medium temperature. I understand they were down chefs in the kitchen. However prehaps they should have stopped the Deliveroo orders in preference to seated diners, or maybe shouldn’t have seated so many at the same time. Let the kitchen catch up.
