Jack's Pub On Post Office - Galveston

Fantastic atmosphere! It's a wonderful spot to relax, grab a few drinks, and enjoy a meal. The food is also fantastic. The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is outstanding.

It's Lent season, and they certainly understand that Catholics are looking for fish on Fridays. I was searching for a decent fish place on the island and came across some great reviews. Claire had rave reviews about the fish. As a local, I’ve always been picky about restaurant fish dishes since we can prepare it so well at home. But let me tell you, if you're after hot, fresh, homemade cornmeal fish, this is the spot! I couldn't resist indulging in the fried ice cream and ended up skipping the rest of the dinner. I devoured all my fish in the car on the way home, and I already feel the need to go back. The fish definitely deserves five stars! And don’t forget to try the extra green beans—they're delicious!

Great place to grab a drink! Oh, and the food was delicious. It's definitely a standout on the island—Jack's is at the top of my list of favorite spots!

Jack’s pub in the inner city of galveston has a lively amount of native (dave and robin) that let us laugh within minutes after the march. After we had searched for an hour, for a place to eat in the late night food, we found that this pub had a large selection of delicious food on the menu. we had fried cats and a pepperoni pizza, both served hot and were very tasty they have a great late evening cook! drinks were refreshing and bartender bretagne was very attentive. I recommend Jack’s pub on post office street in galveston, Texas.

Excellent!! How could I have lived here 11 years and never been in this place? Well that has changed! Pork Chop plate with mashed potatoes and corn is enough for TWO PEOPLE!! Best corn dogs on Galveston Island. You’d think you were at the State Fair in Dallas. Fletcher’s? They’re not but damn close! Going back today for pizza and maybe a cheeseburger... haven’t decided yet. C’mon 5:30!! That’s when the kitchen opens.
