Bidrage med feedbackWell, the staff has thought very well that there was only 1 waitress. the building is pretty nice on the inside, although it feels like it was earlier a circuit city or another large box electric shop. the location is not...idyllic it is on the bay side of the island on the busiest road. the view of the water is not pleasant. eating was okay, but not as brilliant as most hooters. it tries to feel like a hooter with an excellent wood floor and deck, but the ambiente is not quite there.
Ordered wings and curly fries with chesse. The cheese sauce was nasty. It tasted like flour. Fries were not good either. Almost cold and soggy. Wings were ok.
Hooters in Galveston is unfortunately just a three star restaurant at best. I wanted to give this business a fair shot with how poor their reviews are, but it is true. Here's what made this place three stars instead of 5 and hopefully management will take this review seriously because there is great potential. First, structurally there needs to be improvement. The men's bathroom faucet handles are missing. Secondly, the food took over 45 minutes to prepare and we ordered one 10 piece hotwing meal and the facility was not busy. Thirdly, the lighting on the interior perimeter is so low that it is unenjoyable to eat. Lastly, the forks, most of them are bent. Be careful not to stab your gums because one prong may sneak up and get you as you evenly put the fork into your mouth. The table was also dirty that the hostess sat us at. No, I will not come back nor recommend this place.
Location is very nice and clean but service is slow …. Food was good wasn’t as hot (temperature) but it was good… nothing spectacular but decent …
Nothing's changed from my last review of a Hooter's. Only difference now is for a drink, 10 wings and a reasonable tip, you're looking at $25 to $30. True story. That might explain why there were so few people there during the lunch hour. Place was clean, and the service was friendly. I'll go back again in a few years.
